Reports

During my travels, I received free accommodation for a night in exchange for writing a daily travel diary. This diary documented how I reached my next destination, the hosts who welcomed me, the food I was offered, and other experiences along the way. Below, you will find the archives of these extensive reports. Please note that English is not my native language, and most entries were written quickly, often around midnight. Enjoy!

Kewarra Beach --> Edge Hills, Cairns, Australia

I moved from Kewarra Beach back to the Cairns suburb Edge Hill again, where Anne Falconer had invited me for another stay - as today was her birthday!

I was taken along with her and her partner Jean-Pierre and we had dinner at The Reef Hotel Casino in Cairns (where I also got a few dollars to play around with - of course the one with nothing ends up with nothing) and ended up dancing salsa at the Latin-American tapas and wine bar "Casa de Meze" on the Esplanade.

After this day I stayed another two nights, as I had to work on the repair of my hard-drive for my laptop (tech stuff, bleh) and catch up on some previous reports.

And I had to prepare my next long-distance trip for the coming week: Ramon goes Outback!
