Reports
During my travels, I received free accommodation for a night in exchange for writing a daily travel diary. This diary documented how I reached my next destination, the hosts who welcomed me, the food I was offered, and other experiences along the way. Below, you will find the archives of these extensive reports. Please note that English is not my native language, and most entries were written quickly, often around midnight. Enjoy!Wednesday, 21 November 2001
--> Port St. Johns (SA)
No full report today.
Had a day where I tried to get online to work up this website and slept another three hours in the afternoon. My stomach was really messed up.
Later in the afternoon I took a hike towards the windy beach front, had some swims around and walked toward the Blow Hole, where tidal water is pushed into a Hole and blown up, high in the air.
Around sunset Greg drove a few guests and me to the Millenium Bar, a local's bar in Port St. John, situated on a hill and overlooking the Indian Ocean. While Grec was winning poolgames from the locals, a big rainstorm passed over.
The lack of internet, energy and time are keeping this report short.
Where am I at this moment?
