My third lazy day in Yellowknife was filled with an interview with the CBC radio, the northern edition. Erin from the Breakfast show had a recording with me outside.

- So Ramon, how did you get this idea to travel around for free?

The CBC had arranged a taxi at the Philipp residence and picked me up and brought me back again.

Around 8pm at the Explorer Hotel in downtown Yellowknife. Jeff had arranged I could hop on on a tour with a busload of Japanese tourists to see the Northern Lights at Aurora Village.

Aurora Village is a half hour drive up north from Yellowknife and it was quite amusing to listen to the Japanese interpreter who talked to the people, in Japanese.

Aurora Village is a place where the Japanese folks go to to watch the aurora in the sky. It is made as an aboriginal village.

I was welcomed in the main teepee, which was comfortable heated. Good!

Heck, there even was a slide where we could slide off in the darkness.

While siting in these heated seats cabins I really enjoyed the northern lights in the sky above me. Wonderful.

The only photo that worked out well enough. May I present to you: The Northern Light!

Having a hot chocolate with one of the Japanese interpreters. She works here seasonal. In the summer time this lady works at the Niagara Falls, touring around Japanese tourists.

Did I already say that I was surrounded by Japanese people?
